Alifax was founded in Padua in 1988 by Paolo Galiano as a result of his valuable experience in the laboratory diagnostics market with particular reference to hematology, microbiology, serology and autoimmunity fields.

In 1998, after the acquisition of Sire analytical systems, Alifax asserts its position on the Italian market as a diagnostic instrumentation clinical producer for the analysis of sedimentation rate and fast bacterial culture.

This is the beginning of a fast and successful development worldwide. Today Alifax is present with 3 subsidiaries in Russia, Spain and China and a distribution network that includes more than 90 countries around the world.
