For 27 years, Eurocancer has been the promoter of general cancer congresses in France and Europe. During all these years, he has innovated, in substance and in form, in many disciplines and presentation modalities. The innovative and long-term vision of Prof. M.Boiron - Founding President - and the daily care of the harmony of the program and of the speakers brought by Mrs. M.C Guedes were decisive elements of this renewed success.
In recent editions, Eurocancer has strengthened its collaboration with the SFC with a view to proposing a strong event bringing together all the players in French-speaking oncology. From this perspective, the mutation of the event became obvious. It is therefore under the aegis of the French Cancer Society that the main academic organizations, Eurocancer, Unicancer and the Hospital Federation of France Cancer decided to collaborate in the creation of a unique congress of the discipline.
So since June 2014 it is no longer Eurocancer but the Congress of the French Cancer Society which, thanks to the conjunction of the objectives of each of the four partners, shows the firm will to create the major congress of oncology francophone.
