Sirona Treatment Centers: intuitive work flow, leading technology and outstanding performance
Sirona’s treatment centers are as innovative as they are individual: The intuitive touchscreen interface and built-in ApexLocator of SINIUS and TENEO make the dentist’s daily workload much lighter. The Artists Editions of the C3+, C4+ and C5+ centers give each practice a special ambience.
Sirona’s latest treatment centers, SINIUS and TENEO, lighten the dentist’s workflow considerably. SINIUS was presented to the professional public at the International Dental Show (IDS) in Cologne. Both centers are equipped with the intuitively operated EasyTouch touchscreen user interface. EasyTouch supports the user’s mode of operation with a very clearly organized display, which always shows only the functions needed by the operator. In 2010, the interface was honored with the prestigious iF Communication Design Award. In the median price segment, SINIUS sets a new standard with EasyTouch.
With EasyTouch, the operator can manage both patient communication and the endodontics function, an option which can be integrated into both SINIUS and TENEO. Moreover, an integrated digital ApexLocator is available for both centers, for easily and precisely locating the root canal apex. TENEO can also be ordered with an integrated implantology function. Integrating the functions in the centers not only saves the dentist time, but also space that is equivalent to a table unit.
The compactness of SINIUS saves the operator even more room: it takes up only 4.4 m2 of floor space. Like TENEO, SINIUS is outstanding for its up-to-date, light design characterized by its lift mechanism. Two versions of the center will be available on the market: SINIUS with its sliding track technology unique in the sector, and SINIUS CS with a newly developed swivel arm. In both versions, the center, like TENEO, has a network connection – which makes remote diagnosis possible and provides security for the future, as new features can be easily installed.
The limited Artists Edition of the C3+, C4+ or C5+ treatment centers will give any practice a very special ambience. This edition, which will also be on display at IDS, was created by the German artist, Stephan Maria Glöckner. Dentists can have their new C3+, C4+ or C5+ adorned with a Glöckner motif. By choosing this Sirona is supporting a good cause: For each Artists Edition sold,Sirona will donate 100 euros to the KIBRA project, which provides free dental care to Brazilian children living in poverty.
A practical innovation for all Sirona treatment centers is the ceiling-mounted combination of the LEDview operating light and the HELIODENT Plus intraoral x-ray equipment. This combination makes it possible to simply mount the x-ray machine immediately above the treatment chair, which contributes to the improvement of the workflow.
